چکیده
هدف این تحقیق تعیین رابطه هوش هیجانی مادران با رشد حرکتی کودکان بود. صدو پنجاه مادر به همراه کودکان 4 تا 6 ساله آنها که در استان آذربایجان شرقی، شهرستان سراب، سکونت داشتند، بصورت خوشه‌ای از مراکز پیش‌دبستانی- مهدکودک‌ها به عنوان نمونه آماری انتخاب شدند. پرسشنامه‌های جمعیت شناختی، فرم کوتاه فعالیت بدنی بین المللی، هوش هیجانی بارئون و فرم کوتاه - نسخه دوم آزمون تبحر حرکتی برونینکس- ازرتسکی، ابزار اندازه گیری پژوهش حاضر بودند. بر اساس نتایج حاصل از مدل ساختاری اسمارت پی ال اس سه: در سطح اطمینان 95%، هوش هیجانی مادران 41% (000/0=p)، و فعالیت بدنی مادران 3/17% (030/0=p) از تغییرات رشد حرکتی کودکان را پیش بینی کردند. همچنین هوش هیجانی مادران نیز 9/15% (028/0=p) از فعالیت بدنی مادران را پیش بینی کرد. هوش هیجانی مادران نقش دوگانه ای در تسهیل رشد حرکتی کودکان و فعالیت بدنی مادران دارد، همچنین هوش هیجانی مادران تسهیل‌گر فعالیت بدنی مادران است. بنظر می‌رسد که ارتقاء هوش هیجانی و انجام فعالیت‌های بدنی مادران، می‌توانند به پیشبرد رشد حرکتی کودکان کمک نمایند.
